Every time I wake up
it seems to be
be the same routine
Stuck in a rut
can?t get out
where should I be?
Same old job, same old life
gets harder and harder on me.
Shed blood, sweat, and tears all these years.
I put in so much, for what?
Wasn?t born to live in misery.
I know there?s more to life for me.
Though outside I?m wasting away, I?m being renewed day by day.
Even though, that I know this isn?t what life is about,
it seems all the time I get down and out.
So hard to stay focused, in this world around us.
I lose sight of all the blessings in my life.
