Mirror mirror on the wall
life is so unfair to us all.
So listen well while i unfold
one of the strangest tales ever told,

the subject of this history
becomes obsessed with self butchery,
she says "Mother nature makes me bleed
but now once a month's just not enough for me."

Slice it, dice it nice and slow,
I mutilate my hated ego,
and tear apart my virgin skin
it can't be a sin to stick the knife in,

I'll cut cut cut cut cut away
and place my heartache on display,
and I know I shouldn't play with razor blades,

but still every day
I want to die,
and it seems like all the so called experts say
it's just symptomatic of my age,

I'm a cutter,
because the pain gives me pleasure unlike any other cutter.
the knife slips threw my skin like butter,

I consider each cut's a small suicide,
as i contemplate my own demise,
with my wounds worn where the world can see,
make a public appeal for sympathy.

What happened to our little girl?
She's been corrupted by the world,
we blame the bands she listens to,
all those foul mouthed freaks that look so gruesome,

the fault must lie with someone else,
for we think she can't think for herself,
so what if she's lost the will to live?
well maybe that's just the way she is...

She's a cutter,
because the pain gives her pleasure, unlike any other cutter,
because she believes she was born to suffer,

more than you or I could ever understand
why she should want to die by her own hands,
she slashes herself with sharpened steel,
but the blood can't wash away the pain she feels.

This phase your locked into
doesn't make people notice you,
they don't witness your decline as you fall
victim to the unkindest cut of all.

as your veins run dry of juice
from years of sustained self abuse,
theres no flesh left to cut into,
so now theres nothing left of you,

those who slice thier lifes away
won't live to play with knives again,
so this tragic tale should teach you
of what not to do when flesh has failed you,

so hear my words and hear them well,
and please remember when i tell you,
that god hates those who hurt themselves,
and so all bad girls must go to hell.
