she knows the bible verses she's read, she keeps the well places above ehr bed
but something isn't right
so before she closes her eyes and says goodnight
she writes:
"dear diary, i've been dead for eight years."
taking her time to find the right, she looks everywhere but inside

now i lay me down to sleep
i pray the lord my sould to keep
and if i die before i wak
i pray my soul the lord's to take

who do you pray to when you sleep?
blind faith isn't true faith; it's just a cowards disguise
who is your saviour: cash or christ?
