Walking through the redwoods of northern California almost lost my mind.
Their beauty, my insignificance, their majesty and my shame.
Walking through independence grove I nearly lost my lunch.
I read a sign that reminded me of how far we'd fallen behind,
it "said, "The United States of America, the only nation founded on God.”
