The incessant ice of winter is rising
The butterflies will soon return
Floating fast through the air with ease
But alas, thier wings must burn
Good things won't last forever

Everything was perfect, everything was right
Now I doubt I'll make it through the night
I cant deny it was the best day I've ever had
But the perfection makes it all look so bland
Melancholy fills me as I breathe my last breath
Of you into my empty lungs
I cant look into your eyes as we say goodbye
Afraid to see a tear falling down your cheek
In the face of hell, heartache seems so meek
Once again the butterflies returned
