Solitude, my friend
You've found me once again
Always able to run
but never able to hide

My life goes through the motions
A day across from a wasted year

Unaware of people and places

and points of light turn to shadows

My memory fails me now

Clouds pour over on black streams
A distant red moon shadows degredation
Screaming out all the words I've ever written
into a microphone that dogs can't even hear
Yelling in vain
Fixed into nothing
Shaping my future out of clay
on the worst possible day
A passionless child will reach out
