This little town is in the middle of nowhere
Anyone who comes here would have a good reason
The bitumen runs to the end of the main street
And from there on it's dust as you're leavin'

I made a decision back in my childhood
This place would always be where I call home
And except for a few years I spent in college
I'm proud to say that I've stuck to my guns

And when people ask if I'm happy with
The choice I made I tell them this

City lights drawing the young kids away
Like moths to the flame they're searching for something
