Free Fall Astronaut - A Boy With A Pen And A Piece Of Paper
I sat down with my paper and pen it was late,
Smoking cigarettes, staring out my window,
The moon has left a silver lining in the sky,
And I closed my eyes and began to dream,
I was staring out at the endlessness of blue,
With this pen and paper I wrote about you,
How everything fell apart,
And I don't know what else I should do.
So I wrote a letter and titled it "My Regrets"
With the sub-title: "Everything I wanted to forget"
But sometimes the clouds never go away,
And the sun never shines, it's always gray.
(Person#1: Look out the window, what's it doing out there?
Person#2: It's raining again. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Person#1: So what do we do now?
Person#2: Same thing we do everyday, nothing It's always the same around here. Nothing ever changes. It's always the same. No sun, just rain and clouds. Soon the green of the grass will be gone and it'll be covered with snow. And winter will never end because the sun never shines to brighten up the day.)
This pen wrote the story of my life in one sentence,
So I took it outside and gave it to a little bird,
I told him to take it away to a place where the sun shines,
A place where I won't have to act like an asshole all the time,
Somewhere far enough to hide from the horror of the truth,
Some place where I can't go crawling back to you.
So I wrote a letter and titled it "My Regrets"
With the sub-title: "Everything I wanted to forget"
But sometimes the clouds never go away,
And the sun never shines, it's always gray.
(Person#2: I think it's time for me to leave. I'm tired of the same old place. The coffee tastes the same, the walls look the same. I need something new. Somewhere far enough away from you. I can't go crawling back everytime because it hurts more and more everytime. Your eyes shine so bright like the green of July, while my eyes are cold like December.)
