My negativity is killing me
And it’s bringing all my friends down
I’m in a bad mood again
And soon my friends won’t even want me around

They try to cheer me up
They do the best they can
I just get mad at them
But I’m glad they try
When I know that I
I just can’t break out of this rut I’m in
Because it’s hard to smile
when you hate everything you see
When much of life is a waste of time
It’s hard to be happy

I know it’s up to me
I am my only chance to change
And I’m running out of time
I’m getting older everyday
And I don’t want to spend my life
With a frown on my face
But no matter how hard I try
I just can’t seem to feel ok
