Words float from the lips.
They flutter on the wind.
Fragile ideas break away.
Nothing can be done.
SHATTERED we lost them all,
These dreams could never stay.
Reality stole hope from us,
Took our dreams away.
Innocence deprived of truth
Was always the right way
Ignorance is truely bliss
No happyness remains
Straining against the truth,
To grasp what I had known.
What I once thought disintegrates,
It's fragments drift away.
A light flashed in my eyes.
A painful disillusioning.
Nothing falls in place.
Life is in my face.
