I try to be this perfect plastic model placed upon the pedestal
Hiding all my weakness, I don't want them to see
When will I see that Your perfect power works best in my imperfections
and Your grace is sufficient for me

My pride is sitting at the head of the table
I want Jesus there, but I don't think that I'm able
to drive this stake through this heart of deception
when my perception is blinding me to the light of love,
which is calling for me.
The Holy Spirit's groanings groan ever so quietly
Heal my blindness, Jesus help me see ...that You love me

Do You love me? You say You do.
You say You love me... How can I be so sure that this love is true?
You say You love me... How do I know that this is true?
You say, "because I hung upon a cross and died for you"

Now my mind's on fire and I can see the Holy Spirit's blazing inside of me
and my God's bigger than the enemy.
Though I can't see You,
I can feel You running through my veins like a locomotion
dismantling my pride and healing my broken emotions
Though I can't see You I can feel You now

I am going to stand to praise You
