well look at your car and tell me
what kind of disability has thee
because you have been stained and erased
for a good deal more than thirty days
the cauldron boils the sausage simmers
the daylight nights are getting dimmer
yet i believe in Jesus Christ
and that makes everything i do right
or at least that's what says my rectangular vicar
who spends his days collecting bottles of liquor
he becomes adjoined to his vestry safe
and leaves all his parish notices too late
as when he's posted them on the wall
there is no time to conductor the philharmonic orchestra at all
his bread and wine becomes slightly deflated
in a world where the church is inflated
it floats on heaven all around the sky
when a cloud begins to pass it by
but for my own sake
i make the mistake
of eating cheese and bacon with a mahogany rake
free from death free from the hedge
free from the icy window ledge
i slip and slide unto the ground
lest my troubles are never foung
again
