It's 2:45 am and i can't sleep tonight

To expect it any day now
I ask you for all the clues

You told me i'd have to wait and see
For delivery of your words to me

Today is letter day/ paper and a postage stamp
Takes my gray skies away

You ask me if i still feel the same way/ as yeaterday
If i cut your name in to my arm with broken glass
would that be proof enough?
I'll miss you befor i finish writing the next line

Why does there have to be this distance between us?
You're so far way/ Forever lives in everyday
It's a test of strenght/ I believe in my heart
