I met Adonis just recently
On a starry night, we walked by the sea

In the guise of a man here against his will

A goddess or angel I might not seem

He took me then in his arms

Then he pulled away from me, I was speechless as a fool could be
And I realised that I was only human indeed

Don't imagine me a silly Earth fool
I'm tongue-tied and nervous, I appear unschooled
Cos my hormones are churning, they're drowning out my head
Many a thing would have been better unsaid
